instruction in knot tying is offered in both the
Rope Access Equipment Orientation and Practical
Rigging Safety Classes. Learn how to tie the
proper knots each and every time for all
applications that riggers and climbers
need!

Our
two-story engineered work-out grid offers the
best scenarios for riggers, fall protection
users and students who are working at height.
Learn how to correctly ascend and descend using
rope access equipment and fall arrest
gear.

Work
at height in a safe and secure environment -
learn how to comfortably approach a leading edge
for work or for rescue purposes. Horizontal and
vertical lifelines are designed in the two-story
grid with the appropriate types of grabs and
equipment to make your experience working at
height a proper learning experience that will
benefit your future in working at height.

Learn
what equipment is needed in rope access work,
practice donning and use of the equipment in
ascending, descending and belaying. When you
leave the rope access equipment orientation
class, you will know the proper use, inspection
and maintenance techqniues for hardware and
synthetic rope. Learn techniques that will help
you reach your goal in becoming proficient in
rope access work - an excellent beginning to
your future in working successfully and safety
with rope access.

Full
study guides, charts, books and course materials
are thoroughly explored throughout the course,
ending with open book testing that will help you
and your instructor assess your skills and
abilities in practical rigging, fall protection
awareness, self rescue and rope access equipment
orientation.
|
Develop
working skills in a team atmosphere using
equipment such as horizontal lifeline systems
(permanent and temporary), ladder climbing
systems, self retracting lifelines, lanyards and
harnesses. All equipment is provided for these
classes with the exception of Rope Access
Equipment Orientation (you must supply
your
own rope access gear
and bring to the class with you).
All equipment is provided for both the Practical
Rigging Training and Fall Protection &
Rescue Awareness Class ATraining programs.

Want
to learn some self-rescue techniques? The
equipment such as ladders, self rescue straps
and stirrups and 4:1 systems (including the
Tractel D-Rope rescue device) are taught to
students at the classes.
|
Learn
how to use ascenders, descenders, crolls, ID's,
foot loops, carabiners, and other mechanical
advantage equipment in the Rope Access Equipment
Orientation classes.

Rigging
Safety Classes include a team-competition in the
rigging of product from the ground, moving up to a
second level, securing the load and moving the load
back down to ground level.
Exercises are an excellent group work-out to help
attendees assess their skill levels in planning
rigging work assignments, teamwork capabilities,
safety skills and leadership abilities.
