About Safety Training - -
Q: What classes do you offer?
A: Fall Protection Awareness 4 Hour Class, Fall Protection & Rescue Awareness 8 Hour Class, Rigging Safety Training, Rope Access Equipment Orientation and Confined Space.
Q: How many students do you teach in one safety class?
A: We limit the number of attendees to 20 people per instructor. Because so much of the training is hands-on with the equipment, we normally keep class size as low as possible; preferably 15 students; maximum of 20 people.
Q: Do you take groups or offer group discounts?
A: Yes we do. Group discounts are always available for groups of 4 or more…simply call 702-798-5559 and ask for Patti or Erica.
Q: Will you customize classes for our specific needs?
A: Yes. We
do this all the time for our clients who ask! Normally there
is no additional cost involved to customize and personalize
a safety training class.
It's critical to you and your employees to have fresh,
relevant safety training and information. If you require
more time for a particular class, we will be happy to
accommodate!
Q: You mentioned "hands-on" training. What does that mean?
A: Our center is designed with a two-story grid; over 10 fall arrest systems including 2 vertical ladder system, 2 horizontal lifelines (permanent & temporary), trolleys, beam clamps, SRLs, rescue pulley systems and all gear needed for participants to learn and use in real-world work situations. The training structure is designed & engineered for up to 10 simultaneous users; providing rope access technicians leading edges for ascending, descending, transfers and change-overs.
Q: Will you provide weekend training for our employees?
A: Yes! Just call us at 702-798-5559 (ask for Patti) and we'll be happy to set up training around your busy work schedule.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Las Vegas, Nevada - - We're conveniently located just west of Interstate 15 and south of Russell Road (across the freeway from Mandalay Bay Resort). Q: What are the costs for training?
A: The 4 hour classes are $125.00 per person; eight hour classes are $250.00 per person. Rope Access Equipment Orientation Classes are $250.00 per person. Rigging Safety Training Courses are $300.00 per person. Special group pricing is available. . . just call us at 702-798-5559. Costs include donuts, coffee and water in the morning, lunches for 5 hour and 8 hour class attendees, and snacks/water/sodas throughout the day. All training materials, binders, books, and charts are provided each attendee. Material is also made available in electronic format by request.
Q: Who are the instructors?
A: Our managers, Richard and Patti Redd, local knot "guru" J.D. Schweitzer, manufacturer representatives from Chicago Hardware & Fixture Company, Samson Rope, and Cooper Tools/Campbell Chain.
Q: Do our employees receive certificates?
A: After the final test at each training session, attendees who successfully complete the training receive a Certificate of Training.
Q: Do you follow OSHA/ANSI Standards?
A: Yes. Classes are in conformance with current OSHA/ANSI Standards 1910 and 1926 for construction and general industry.
Q: Who are some of your clients?
A: Over the past 8 years we have trained over 6,000 students with Cirque du Soleil, Bureau of Reclamation (Hoover Dam), Mandalay Bay Resort, The Orleans, Caesar's Palace, Portland International Airport, Mesa Arts Center, Granite Construction Co., Bomel Construction, Xanterra Parks & Resorts-Grand Canyon, Arizona . . . just to name a few of our continuing training customers.
